This Account Director opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of key client relationships within a specialist marketing agency environment. The business is open to speaking with established Account Directors, as well as ambitious Senior Account Managers ready to step into their first Account Director role. You will create clarity, guide delivery, and ensure consistently high standards across integrated marketing campaigns. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will manage multiple workstreams while keeping client objectives front of mind. This role suits someone who enjoys balancing hands-on delivery with strategic thinking, and who takes pride in building long-term client partnerships.
What you’ll be doing
As Account Director, you will be responsible for understanding each client’s business, goals and challenges, translating these into clear plans, priorities and opportunities for growth. You will act as a senior point of contact, ensuring communication is clear, timely and purposeful. You will oversee campaign delivery across marketing channels, lead client meetings and presentations, and guide internal teams through well-defined briefs. You will manage workload and expectations carefully, maintaining oversight of timelines, budgets and quality. You will also identify opportunities to grow accounts in a considered way, supporting both client outcomes and commercial performance.
This could be an ideal next step for a Senior Account Manager who is ready for more ownership, broader strategic input, and progression into an Account Director title.
