Hybrid working with 1-2 days a week in the Manchester or Leeds offices.

What you’ll be doing

As Account Manager, you’ll be part of a high functioning digital client services team to ensure new and existing clients are given the best possible experience, turning challenges into solutions, and playing a key role in the continued growth of their impressive range of clients.

As an agency that specialises in the delivery of website development projects, you will be able to utilise previous experience of technical projects and environments to work cross functionally with other Account Managers and the wider business across design, development, delivery, and the senior leadership team.

Whilst every day is different and exciting, you will be proactive in your goal to aid in the successful delivery of projects by ensuring client satisfaction with regular communication, understanding their needs and challenges, offering technical guidance, managing expectations, and providing additional services and solutions where appropriate, whilst relaying this information internally.

To achieve this building and maintaining relationships is key, alongside strong time management, organisation and communication skills whilst contributing to personal and team targets. Whilst this isn’t a sales focused Account Management role a very generous commission structure is in place for upselling and cross selling new and existing accounts, typically with enterprise level clients and projects.

You will use your passion for digital to keep abreast of the latest trends and identify new opportunities, attend events and meet ups and run client workshops to offer your expertise and increase your understanding. You will enjoy well thought out training and development to support you every step of the way to compliment a career progression plan to ensure you have all the tools you need to gain promotions into more senior roles.

What experience you’ll need

  • Previous experience as Account Manager or similar.
  • Previous experience in a digital/technical/software environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, agile agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies such as Sitecore, WordPress, Kentico, Umbraco, Magento, Shopify for example would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with enterprise level clients on large scale technical projects, high volume low budget projects will not be relevant.
  • You’ll need to be a confident communicator, hands on approach to problem solving and superb client and stakeholder management.
  • Meticulous time management and organisational skills.
  • A tangible track record of learning new skills quickly, perhaps through further education, relevant industry qualifications or gaining promotions in previous roles.
  • Comfortable working in Manchester or Leeds 1-2 times a week on average.
