Work across varied CRM, data, analytics and technology projects for charity and commercial clients.
Coordinate specialist teams while contributing to account growth without being the primary commercial owner.
We’re working with a specialist data and technology agency to find an Account Manager who enjoys both client relationships and hands-on delivery. This is not a traditional account role focused mainly on relationship management and upselling. You’ll own day-to-day client relationships while also managing projects, coordinating technical and analytical teams, tracking budgets and keeping delivery on track.
What you’ll be doing
As an Account Manager, you’ll manage multiple client relationships and become a key point of contact across a varied portfolio. Projects can include CRM and platform work, data and insight projects, technology implementations, ongoing retainers and smaller consultancy projects.
You’ll turn client requirements into clear briefs, coordinate internal teams and manage delivery from kick-off through to completion. You’ll maintain project plans, timelines, risks and dependencies, oversee scope and change control, and coordinate specialist teams to make sure work is delivered on time and within agreed parameters.
Commercial management is also an important part of the role. You’ll track budgets, resource and forecasting, monitor profitability and identify risks early. Project values can range from around £5k to £200k, with larger projects supported by the Pod Lead. You’ll also identify opportunities and contribute to account growth, without being the primary commercial owner.
You’ll work across a range of CRM, data and marketing technology platforms, supporting clients with complex data-led projects and implementations.
What experience you’ll need to apply
What you’ll get in return for your experience
You’ll receive a competitive salary and benefits package including enhanced pension contributions, life assurance, wellness rewards, private healthcare and critical illness cover. You’ll also have access to flexible hybrid working (1/2 days a week in the office) and professional development opportunities, including product and service accreditations. You’ll join an organisation that places a strong emphasis on responsible business, inclusion, transparency and employee wellbeing.
