Fantastic Benefits Package

With one foot in academia and the other in industry, Oxford University Innovation’s (OUI) professionals undertake a wide variety of tasks, from licensing university ideas, and finding investment for spinout companies, to setting up social ventures and developing student entrepreneurship. University innovation is the magic behind the scenes that turn ideas born in a university into companies and technologies that look to have a positive and transformative economic and societal impact on the wider world.

Our work is fascinating and complex. OUI supports company creation and the negotiation of licensing deals that span life-saving treatments, vaccines, and AI-driven technology. We’ve just celebrated creating 300 companies, including spinouts, social enterprises and start-ups. We also arrange consultancy agreements for academics to share their expertise with industry, government, and R&D partners. We fund and support students through our Incubator to understand entrepreneurship and create start-up companies. You will never be short of ideas to develop rich and engaging content from news stories to storyboards for video vox pops.
