A hugely successful South West organisation are looking to become nationally renowned, starting a 4-year scaling plan now. We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer, well versed in a Microsoft environment who has the capability to move them from a manual environment to a fully automated one. Have you got what it takes?

What experience you’ll need

  • Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitBal CI or CircleCI.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
  • Peppermint CX365.
  • Communicates complex technical problems clearly either via demos, documentation and knowledge sharing to all manner of stakeholders.
  • Able to listen and communicate to stakeholders to understand their challenges.
  • Produce and maintain clear, effective documentation.
  • Able to anticipate and advise of any unexpected implications of suggested system changes.
  • Good communication in stand-ups, with stakeholders, and the rest of the project team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for their software delivery, from development to production environments. Collaborate with internal delivery teams to automate deployment processes and streamline software releases. Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of their applications and infrastructure. Build and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Implement best practices for security, scalability, and reliability in all aspects of their infrastructure. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve their DevOps processes and infrastructure. Keep abreast of new technologies and be aware of industry standards, best practices, and trends.
