Full Stack Developer

We’re working with a B Corp certified business in Bath who deliver data solutions for some of the world’s most recognizable brands.

They’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their team. This is a fully remote role (although you’ll need to be based in the UK) with occasional trips to the office. They offer loads of flexibility and currently have a 4.5 day working week, but there is also the option of a 4-day week too (pro rata).

They have offices in Bath so if your preference is to be office based or part office based, you’re welcome to base yourself there as often as you wish.

What you’ll be doing

Joining a cross functional engineering team of 10-12, that includes Data Scientists, Engineers, Technology Strategists and QA’s you’ll work on a remit of projects using .Net and React, all hosted in Azure. Upcoming projects include a complete re-write of their enterprise level web app for one of their most high-profile clients from Knockout to React.js.

You’ll be afforded loads of autonomy and the scope to influence how things are done, as well as time in your working week to focus on R&D to keep your skills up. The business is a Microsoft partner, so you’ll be able to obtain industry standard certifications too.

What skills you’ll need

  • Solid experience developing code in C#.Net (6 and up).
  • Demonstrable experience with JavaScript and React.
  • Deep understanding of SQL and ideally tSQL.
  • Confident building and deploying code to Azure.
  • Knowledge of the Azure ecosystem (Azure Apps, Azure SQLDB, Data Factory).
  • Skilled in DevOps practices.
  • Awareness of testing (unit, integration).
  • Comfortable with autonomy.

The following skills would be advantageous but are not essential:

  • Prior experience with KnockoutJS.
  • Any exposure to Firebase.
