Full-Stack Engineer

A hugely successful, rapidly growing fin-tech company are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to work closely with an established, small development team across their user-friendly platforms with new integrations and products. With a 4.8/5 Trustpilot score and a string of industry awards and recent investment, they’re ready to grow by another 70% next year.  You’ll be working on a unique product suite that genuinely helps people who may have struggled with their finances previously to own their home.

What experience you’ll need

• Experience building and shipping production apps using Vue 3/Nuxt 3, Tailwind and Laravel.
• Expertise in Typescript and frontend testing frameworks (Cypress, Vite).
• Comfortable working across the stack, but love creating smooth, user-friendly interfaces.
• RESTful API design and can build performant endpoints.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment where your work has visible impact.
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git, GitHub).
• An understanding of accessibility best practices

Any of this would be awesome

• Use of FormKit in a production application
• Familiarity with Laravel Echo and Reverb for real time notifications
• Experience with Jira, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be part of a team of 6-7 developers maintaining and enhancing existing software products using Vue/Nuxt.js and RESTful Laravel API’s. As Full-Stack Engineer with a definite front-end lean, you will be writing performant, testable and maintainable code.  They will look for you to collaborate with UX/UI Designers to turn Figma designs into intuitive, accessible experiences.  You will be reviewing code, sharing ideas with the team and engaging in daily stand ups and discussions whilst ensuring a smarter, shaping more seamless experiences for customers. Your work will assist people who are often unfairly overlooked for financial help so you should feel good about what you’re building throughout.
