100% UK based remote working available alongside bonuses and progression.

I‘m delighted to be representing a long-standing client of mine in their search for a Head of Delivery to join their thriving Shopify agency in an important role.

Naturally you will have a wealth of experience in delivering eCommerce website development projects using Shopify, in addition to a track record of managing teams, establishing streamlined processes, and contributing to the wider business within an agency setting.
You may be a seasoned Delivery Lead/Head of Delivery, or a Senior Account/Project Manager ready to make that step up.
If this sounds like you, read on!

Please note whilst my client offers 100% remote working within the UK, if you are not a permanent UK resident with right to work in the UK your application will be rejected.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be joining a well-established and growing Shopify eCommerce agency who’ve built a reputation for delivering high quality Shopify development projects for an impressive client base consisting of B2C brands from a variety of industries. With sound financial backing and finishing 2023 very strongly, continued growth plans are in place placing the Delivery function at the heart of such growth – which is where you come in.
You’ll be managing a team of Account & Project Managers, offering continued training and development, whilst creating a self-managing culture with ownership allowing you to devote time to looking at the bigger picture for long term growth. This entails having commercial and strategic acumen, liaising with the senior leadership team, and all departments within the agency to bring new ideas to the table and implement your ideas with the support of those around you.
Day to day you’ll take the lead on all Shopify development delivery, considering both project and retainer work, with client satisfaction the key priority so ensuring retainer client hours are fully utilised and Account Managers are proactive whilst setting the standard is key.
The right person will be a team player who earns respect through trust and utilise their experience to make improvements and make calls on best practice.

In return you’ll have the full support of the business to ensure your team performs well and work in a way that suits you, with resources to expand and grow.
Culturally, my client makes a real effort to ensure you feel part of the team, especially if you work 100% remotely, with a great onboarding process, regular socials, bonuses and training opportunities.

What experience you’ll need

  • Strong experience of project delivery using Shopify.
  • Strong client and stakeholder management, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Line management experience within an agency or eCommerce environment.
  • Ability to implement best practice, implement new ideas and balance project and retained work.
  • Strong experience of working with productivity tools to manage resourcing, utilisation, capacity, and profitability.
  • Commercial and strategic acumen to work with the business leaders in their growth aspirations, and to grow your own team’s operations and services.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Personable, hard working with a desire to deliver high performance.
  • Comfortable working remotely long term, or from the office.
  • A collaborative and friendly mindset that champions teamwork.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

A competitive salary of course, but also the opportunity to lead an established and growing team within a thriving eCommerce agency. Remote and flexible working options, with perks such as company bonus, training & development, and real career progression.
