What you’ll be doing
Jump into some exciting projects as a Principal/Head of Frontend Development taking a position in an energetic and ambitious development team. You’ll be meeting clients discussing projects and using your knowledge to consult on and create truly effective websites. You’ll be collaborating with a talented group of Developers to create exceptional eCommerce solutions providing niche expertise on Magento Frontend development. You will be encouraged to put your opinions forward bring everything together to make sure every project is completed with the level of quality this leading agency is renowned for.

Our client is a leading Magento solution provider and you’ll be working with experts to create innovative and responsive websites. As a Principal/Head of Frontend Development you’ll be setting coding standards building the Frontend team and managing a range of projects such as extending Magento’s native functionalities migrating client websites onto the platform integrations and new web builds from scratch. You will also suggest any improvements that can be made to websites consulting on plug-ins or apps that clients may need.
 
What experience you’ll need.

  • Previous experience as Principal/Lead Developer or Head of Front end Development.
  • Track record of building out and working with the development team on web & eCommerce solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with the key tech of React JavaScript/Typescript HTML CSS and Magento.
  • Management of the development activity across projects retainers and apps.
  • To cultivate and promote good relations with the clients and team.
  • Ensure all Account Managers are kept up to date with progress on key projects and weekly liaison where necessary.
  • Helping the Developers within the team progress & enhance their own skill sets.
  • Continuously improving the structure of the Development team.
  • Setting coding standards which will be designed for robustness and continuous improvement.
  • Assisting the agency in accurate quoting and planning of development work.
  • Identify where new product/service opportunities may be possible for the agency.
  • Ensuring detailed briefs for client work are taken that goals objectives and timelines are clear for both parties at the outset of a project.
