About the Head of Marketing role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Marketing/ Growth Marketer. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our brand values and drive business growth. The day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership – develop and drive the overall marketing strategy, aligning with the company’s goals and values. Provide strategic direction to the marketing team for effective campaign execution.
  • Team Management – lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration and innovation. Ensure team members are empowered to achieve their goals and contribute to the overall success of the department.
  • Brand Management – oversee the development and maintenance of a consistent and compelling brand identity. Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to across all marketing initiatives.
  • Campaign Development – spearhead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels which purpose will be generating leads and raising brand awareness.
  • Digital Marketing Leadership – lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, social media, and content marketing. Stay abreast of industry trends and implement innovative digital strategies.
  • Partnership and Vendor Management – cultivate and manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors. Collaborate on joint marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
  • Budget Management – develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Monitor and report on budget performance.
  • Market Research and Analysis – conduct market research to identify opportunities, challenges, and trends. Analyze data to derive actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – collaborate with cross-functional teams, including financial advisors and leadership teams, to ensure marketing strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • Reporting and KPIs – establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on marketing performance. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.

What experience you’ll need to apply

In order to be considered for the Head of Marketing/ Growth Marketer vacancy, we are will be looking for you to fulfil the criteria below:

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, with a track record of successful strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Financial services industry experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in Hubspot would be highly beneficial.

What you’ll get in return

A basic salary of £55-70k DOE + 23 days of holidays and 12 wellbeing days throughout the year, profit share scheme, discretionary bonus potential, great pension contribution, income protection insurance, private medical insurance (employee + family), life assurance and cycle to work scheme. A hybrid working model where on average 2/3 days per week will be required to work from the Bristol office as well as occasional travel to other offices.
