When I was a kid I wanted to become…

A first-class, long-distance cabin crew member. It probably worked out for the best that I am not in this industry after all as it seems like a very demanding job. Saying that, it most likely would be a great way of travelling the world, almost for free! ????

For me, this is “what working at ADLIB” is all about:

Being yourself at work and working with like-minded people: knowledgeable, professional, honest, supportive and fun. Knowing that we are all here for the same reason and work towards the same goals.

My biggest feel-good moment since I’ve been at ADLIB:

There are two: the weekend away a few years ago when we went to Wales and were kayaking on the river Wye. It was a lovely weekend, we had gorgeous weather, made cocktails and everyone had a great time.

More recently we did a Day of Fun locally in Bristol, it was genuinely a great laugh and gave us an opportunity to bond with new colleagues which these days can be a bit trickier when we’re all working from home and often not in the office at the same time as one another.

How I explain what I do at a party:

I find exciting and challenging opportunities for candidates and at the same time, talented and loyal employees for our clients.

Beyond recruitment at ADLIB, I care about:

My family and friends. I love going away and exploring new places as well as eating nice food from different corners of the world. Although I am not musically gifted myself, I love listening to the music as well as a range of podcasts and audiobooks – I am pretty much always listening to something on my headphones or a speaker.

Ania has joined ADLIB in 2014 as her first recruitment job, a few years after she completed her MA in Marketing, Communications and PR at Cardiff University. Getting a job in recruitment was a pure coincidence! Funnily enough, Ania was actually a candidate of ADLIB to begin with, that’s how she got to know the business, and a few months later she ended up applying for a job here, only because everyone she dealt with was so nice and helpful.

Ania specialises in B2C marketing recruitment within the South West of England, mainly working with sectors such as retail, FMCG, education, utilities, financial services, tourism, hospitality and more. She particularly enjoys working with other B Corp and purpose-led businesses which closely match her personal values and beliefs – particularly those linked to supporting people who are less fortunate and organisations which are more environmentally friendly.

Ania shares what it’s like to work at ADLIB.

What my candidates say

  • Ania is quick and helpful. She doesn't waste any time at any stage of the recruitment process - right from sourcing relevant candidates and lining up interviews - and her attitude throughout is positive and purposeful. I will definitely use her next time we're recruiting for the marketing team.

    ABM expert

  • Ania is an amazing recruitment agent. She found me a job in Bath, close to my house. She was very helpful over the phone and via email, and was always ready to deal with any question that came her way. I highly recommend ADLIB for their resourcefulness, their helpful nature, their ability to find jobs tailored to your requirement and experience. The list could go on. Definitely the best recruitment agency in the UK.

    Christos Gardikiotis

Digital Lead [Paid Media | UX & UI Design | SEO]

  • Ania is hands down the best recruitment consultant I have ever met. What makes her stand out from others is that she really listens and takes the time to understand what role you are looking for and what aspects of the job description would fit your skills. Ania is thorough and always prepared with answers to any questions. Thanks Ania for all you help!

    Manager at PracticeWebMarketing

  • Ania is an absolute star and is an example of one of the best experiences I've received when dealing with a recruiter. She is incredibly organised, relayed all information promptly and was constantly in contact with me to update me on progress and any feedback I received. She also gave really comprehensive briefs on roles and tasks during the interview processes so I always felt fully informed. I would recommend Ania and the rest of the ADLIB team to any prospective job hunters or organisations looking to recruit new staff.

    Alan Gurney

Head of Marketing, UK & Ireland at edyn

  • Ania was incredibly helpful with finding me a new role. Throughout the process she was always super lovely and very efficient with responding to job applications. She is always very specific about what roles worked for me and honest about roles that are not. This I loved as many recruitment agencies focus on their own bonuses instead of focusing on whether the role is a good fit to the individual. I couldn't recommend Ania and ADLIB enough. After searching for my perfect role for what feels like many years, Ania helped me to find it. Thank you!
