A Power BI Developer is required to drive customer-centric innovation in a leading financial institution. Play a pivotal role in enhancing transparency and trust for customers in an ambitious project. You’ll be refining data-driven strategies, enhancing automation processes, and delivering compelling visual reports and dashboards.
In your role, you will harness vast data ecosystems, primarily utilising renowned platforms to make data-driven decisions. As part of this, you will design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for decision-makers. Your collaboration with internal teams and tech specialists will be paramount to develop and streamline data channels for critical client feedback mechanisms. Transitioning legacy processes towards modern, automated systems will be a key responsibility, ensuring timely and consistent data outputs. Furthermore, you will supervise quality checks to ensure precision, reliability, and regulatory adherence in data flows. Delving into a set of surveys awaiting enhancement, you will play a significant role in shaping their data strategies. Working with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements will be crucial, ensuring that the Power BI reports effectively meet business needs.
To excel in this role, you should be proficient in SQL and have experience with Power BI, including DAX and M query language. Experience with SSMS and SSIS is expected, along with a deep understanding of quality assurance and user testing methods. An understanding of data modeling best practices and experience integrating Power BI with different data sources will be beneficial. In terms of additional qualifications, familiarity with Teradata, AWS, and Jira will be an advantage. Experience with Power BI service, including data gateway setup, and Power BI embedded features would be an added bonus.
In return for your experience, you will receive a base salary of £45 – 55k DOE, plus bonus and benefits.
