R&D Lead
Key role in a growing start-up.
R&D Leader.
Team Management experience required.
Fermentation experience desired.
I am working with an exciting Biotechnology start-up company in Bristol who are focusing within the personal care and cosmetic industry looking to replace harmful chemicals with sustainable degradable adhesives and materials. They due to growth are looking for an R&D Lead to help grow their business and push the technical team.
What you’ll be doing?
As the R&D Lead you will be involved in supporting bioprocessing development as well as working closely with the c-suite to create processes, set budgets and optimise R&D activities. You will be involved in implementing new project ideas, mentoring the team, project management and responsible for maintaining the laboratory.
What they are looking for?
They are looking for someone who has a knowledge within protein biochemistry, recombinant protein processes and bioprocess development. It is desired to have experience working with bioreactors and fermentation. They will need to have experience managing a team, project management, writing up scientific reports and writing grants.
