Senior Designer

This Global consultancy is looking for a senior designer to join their London-based creative studio. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a great eye for design who thrives collaborating with other teams.

What you’ll be doing 
In this role, you will be the driving force behind the Visual Communication team’s creative output, taking ownership of diverse projects from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include providing clear task briefs, ensuring effective client liaison, and actively contributing to the team’s continuous improvement.

As a leader, you will guide the team in the absence of the Creative Lead, managing work scheduling, mentoring team members, and maintaining a keen understanding of budgets and approval processes. Your dynamic contributions will not only shape the team’s strategic direction but also foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the broader creative environment.

What Experience you’ll need 

• Mid to senior design experience in a professional environment.
• Project management skills for effective planning and execution.
• Proficient in design, illustration, and typography across various media platforms.
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Previous experience in mentoring or leading team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and innovative team player with a proactive approach.
• Problem-solving attitude with a commitment to resilience and accountability.
• Experience working in the engineering or consultancy sector would be desirable
