We’re delighted to be supporting a very well-established eCommerce and technology services business within the music and entertainment sectors. They have a formidable, international client base and a values-driven and supportive company culture that is second to none.  Due to exciting company growth, they are looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join the team.

What skills you’ll be needing

  • Experience with AWS, DevOps, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Github (all essential).
  • Experience of delivering best practice solutions with high availability and at high scale.
  • Good knowledge of Linux – command line usage, BASH scripting etc.
  • Demonstrate a working development background: programming knowledge of JavaScript and either PHP or NodeJS.
  • Experience building to best practices using techniques such as CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience of delivering public facing digital services for a wide range of end users.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of Design and Architectural patterns.
  • Strong experience of working with and developing API endpoints.
  • Great communication and interpersonal abilities written and verbal.

What you’ll be doing

You will be helping us architect and develop solutions for clients using industry standard platforms and tooling such as AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and Github. You will be delivering the applications at a very high scale – with redundancy, resilience and security being core pillars of what they do. They will look for you to contribute strongly from technical design, implementation through to testing/release.  You’ll be working alongside DevOps and Developers to create secure, performant and resilient business applications, keeping accurate documentation and responding to high priority incidents.  As a senior member of the technical team, you’ll be encouraged to share knowledge, mentor others, contribute to code reviews and propose technical solutions.
