A well-respected eCommerce agency is looking to add a talented and driven Senior Node Developer to their team, if you’re looking for that next step, get in touch!

What you’ll be doing:
We are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Node Developer to join our development team to work on existing client stores and new builds from scratch. The role is a full-time permanent position. The role is split between new project builds developing customisations and integrations, alongside working on a handful of client stores developing new features and ongoing maintenance.

You will work with internal teams including DevOps, the account management team, project managers, and designers to ensure projects are developed according to the brief/instructions.

This role will see you focusing mainly on Node and Typescript Development, and working on client projects. You will also have the chance to work on developing the processes and the tools for the whole company.

Experience of working within a headless/microservice environment will be useful including system integrations and back-end integrations. The role may also cover development on other eCommerce platforms including commerce tools.

What experience you’ll need:

  • At least 4 years’ experience developing Client-Side projects.
  • Key experience with Node & further JavaScript languages i.e. Nest, Koa, Express, etc.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience integrating NoSQL Databases.
  • Experience with SaaS and FaaS platforms.
  • Ideally experience with Unit Testing inside of JavaScript
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Punctual and good time management.
  • Excellent communication skills to help explain complex and technical aspects simply.
  • Ability to learn from others and teach other team members.
