About our Head of Partnerships & Business Development / Partnerships & Business Development Lead role

The Head of Partnerships & Business Development / Partnerships & Business Development Lead role sits at the forefront of our global growth ambitions. Reporting to the CEO, and member of the leadership team, the Head of Partnerships & Business Development / Partnerships & Business Development Lead’s primary responsibility is to scale up the business’ volume & value through a variety of new B2B channels & partnerships, worldwide.
More specifically, the Head of Partnerships & Business Development / Partnerships & Business Development Lead will develop and implement a B2B2C and partnership strategy, manage the B2B2C sales funnel via a field team of Ambassadors, and pitch to win mutually beneficial corporate partners.
With a strong background in commercial functions & well-versed in partnership dynamics, you’ll have the confidence to take on the building of a new function & organisation, as well as the vision to navigate the ambiguity of this emerging space. An entrepreneurial spirit is a must, as well as a bias for action and a passion for getting results.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Proven experience in a leadership role shaping, developing and implementing a Partnerships and/or Business Development function for a high growth business
  • In-depth knowledge of the Pet Care sector and ideally dog training & breeding spaces
  • Track record of identifying, cultivating and delivering high-value partnerships from scratch
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in leading, managing & motivating field teams / ambassadors across multiple geographies
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a track record of translating ideas into actionable plans and the results that follow
  • Familiarity with legal & contractual frameworks related to corporate partnerships
