Senior Frontend Developer (React)

A top digital agency in Bath who only take on very progressive and cool projects are seeking a talented Senior Front-End Developer with top React experience to join the team. As well as your CV, you must provide a React-heavy portfolio or a quality, well pepper GitHub account to progress.

What skills you’ll need

• Responsive and semantic HTML and CSS.

• Extensive experience with Javascript.

• Extensive experience with React.

• Experience creating beautiful web animation, e.g. with GSAP or Framer Motion.

• Comfortable using git.

• Comfortable building front end templates from Figma.

• Solid, dependable and pixel-perfect.

• A desire to push themselves creatively, with a genuine interest in a wide range of cutting edge web technologies.

Very nice-to-haves

• Next.js and/or other static site generators combined with a headless CMS.

• Node.js e.g. with Express.js and Socket.IO.

• Three.js and/or WebGL.

• WordPress and common plugins such as ACF, either in traditional usage or as a headless CMS.

• PHP.

What you’ll be doing

Work in a small but busy, fast-paced agency environment with a focus on delivering premium quality results, you’ll be building a varied range of products including large new websites, maintaining existing sites and fast turnaround projects at live events. You’ll be developing interactive websites, apps, games and APIs for their impressive client-base. As they are a creative agency, you will be comfortable using Photoshop to create all their front-end templates. Your input will be needed as you will be able to help accurately scope projects and help get across the time that will be needed to complete said project. You’ll work closely with the other developers ensuring consistent high-quality code that is tested and reviewed to the highest standard. This agency is always looking to work with new and innovative tech and evolving all the time. You will have the opportunity to learn all the hottest languages, various other tools and work with people who are highly-skilled specialists in what they do.
