Are you wondering what those working within 'Analytics' actually do? Here an example to show what an Analytics job could be.
Analytics job example
You can be working as part of an agency team but can also be working direct for a business. You’ll be in charge of all data analytics relating to a business or sometimes a specific area of the business (e.g. website, marketing). You will analyze the relevant data to report on current performance - you will then report your findings to the relevant teams in order to improve the product and increase potential ROI.
You will naturally be a great communicater too, as you'll need to liaise with various teams, highlighting where you see issues and key opportunities to improve performance. You’ll be using a vast range of tools to gather data, from Google Analytics (GA) to SQL queries and everything in between. You'll constantly have an eye out for other tools that become available and could be useful for your business or client. This includes tools to gather data as well as those used to filter, analyze and evaluate.
We work with agencies and businesses across the areas of Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire, Cornwall and Devon - basically across the entire South West of England - on Analytics related Jobs.
