Joining a non-for-profit focusing on vulnerable children and young people, this company are an incredible bunch who want to grow their team with the right person! This role is a 12 month, fixed term contract role.

What you’ll be doing 
Join the business to support them to manage and understand their data. Diving into excel, you’ll be getting your hands dirty in handling all their data. You’ll be supporting the existing data analyst and help your manager by providing data to back up the corporate strategy. The sector is currently going through a lot of change, meaning a lot of development and therefore an increased need for a data analyst. They also work with a lot of survey data and deal with qualitative work, so you’ll be involved in making improvements and dealing with this data.

Your data analysis support goes a long way in helping this organisation to get the volunteers they need and help children who are suffering, you’ll be actively involved in helping them grow and bring in the support and growth they need, as well as more understanding of data in the business. What experience you’ll need to apply

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a Data driven position
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Comfortable getting your hands dirty with excel!
  • Familiar with qualitative data
  • Comfortable working with bespoke systems
  • Confident presenting insights and using themes and reports to back up strategy
  • Ideally a relevant degree with a 2:1 or above
  • Ideally knowledge or experience with PowerBI – especially for modelling

This role requires 1-2 days in the Edinburgh office.
