Data & Analytics Manager

We’re looking for a Data & Analytics Manager to join a global nonprofit organisation working on environmental and social impact. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior data professional who enjoys combining strategic leadership with hands-on work.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Data & Analytics Manager, you’ll lead the organisation’s data strategy, governance frameworks and reporting. You’ll work closely with leadership to define KPIs, improve decision making and ensure data is trusted throughout the organisation.

You’ll take ownership of the BigQuery data warehouse, ensuring data models, access controls and reporting structures are scalable, secure and reliable. You’ll oversee BI, reporting, dashboard development and self-service reporting, while maintaining data quality standards.

The Data & Analytics Manager will also lead a small team of specialist data professionals, providing direction, support and mentorship. Alongside team leadership, you’ll remain hands-on with analytics, reporting and data initiatives as required.

Experience You’ll Need
The Data & Analytics Manager will play a key role in helping teams make better decisions through data. You’ll own platforms, influence organisation-wide strategy and work closely with senior stakeholders to create a strong data culture across a distributed international workforce. This is a role where you have a lot of ownership and can hit th ground running, so a background of doing this, preferably in a non-profit (or similar) is needed here!

Required: 

• At least 5+ years’ experience leading data, analytics or BI functions
• Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery or a similar modern data warehouse
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience owning data governance frameworks
• Experience delivering reporting, dashboarding and business intelligence solutions
• Experience managing stakeholders at senior leadership level
• Experience leading and developing teams
• Knowledge of GDPR, privacy and data security best practice

Beneficial

• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms would be beneficial
• Experience within a non-profit or purpose-led organisation would be advantageous

What You’ll Get In Return
