Data Scientist

An industry leading business is looking improve their understanding and effectiveness across an entire business unit and you’d be coming in to assist with this. Using a range of statistical analysis & data science techniques, you’ll dig into data to surface key insights that will impact business decisions.

What you’ll be doing
This role will give you the opportunity to join an established team, you’ll be looking into the nitty gritty of the data to help the team better understand trends; it’s a real chance to work with large and dynamic data sets and improve your skills developing insights and showing key trends for this business.

You’ll be building statistical & probabilistic models experimenting to look at a combination of pricing, supply chain and logistical variables and providing this insight to other data & commercial teams to make decisions.

Your work will be used to develop a deep understanding of the business’s operations and will enable them to make key strategic decisions

What experience you’ll need to apply

• 2+ years working in a Data Scientist role or similar
• Excellent analytics and insight skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong SQL experience
• Experience working with Tableau or PowerBI
• Python experience

What you’ll get in return for your experience 
A base salary up to £53,000 per annum with some solid benefits. This role would require three days a week in the office but has excellent transport links and free parking.
