This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead JavaScript Engineer to join a high-growth, product-led environment where you’ll create, own and scale a modern platform used by hundreds of thousands of customers. As a Lead JavaScript Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping both the technical direction and the engineering culture, working closely with senior stakeholders while remaining deeply hands-on in the code. What you’ll be doing
As Lead Engineer, you will own the architecture and technical direction of a core product, guiding it from a solid foundation through to a fully scaled, production-grade solution. You’ll design systems that are robust, maintainable and scalable. They will look for you to write and review high-quality code across the front end and supporting services. You’ll work closely with product and leadership teams to shape priorities and ensure the right problems are being solved. In addition you will drive engineering standards, introduce best practices, and champion an AI-native way of working to improve speed and quality.
You’ll also mentor engineers, helping to build a high-performing team and strong collaborative culture. They will look for you to take ownership of key technical decisions, balancing rapid delivery with long-term platform health. You’ll identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability and developer experience across the stack and play a critical role in scaling systems to support growing customer demand while continuously evolving the product. Alongside this, you will contribute to shaping the roadmap, bringing a strong product mindset to ensure everything built delivers real customer and commercial value.
