This role is looking for someone who is able to ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of the data. You’ll be working across critical projects where you’ll be reviewing and managing data integrity. Your role is key to their transformation journey where they’re making sure the customer, the data and the digital aspects are at the forefront of what they do and this shows in their solutions.

What you’ll be doing
If you’re an MD Analyst, this is the one for you! Within the Master & Reference Data Management (M&RDM) and part of the Agile delivery team you’ll be focused on developing the MDM capability.

You’ll be conducting assessments and profiles of data quality to identify anomalies and collaborate with the stakeholder to enforce data quality standards.

You’ll work alongside the data governance team to establish ownership frameworks for data and help with data quality conflicts and issues. Looking at data integration patterns with new and old tech, you’ll work alongside data developers to review and enhance data matching rules. You’ll be helping to review commercial party data through probabilistic matching into our IBM Master Data Management system.

Lastly, you’ll also be working closely with business stakeholders, developers and various teams to improve processes and communicate your findings to them. You’ll be assisting with improving data management processes and data related findings too!

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • 2+ years working in a Reference data role or with data quality and data management
  • Experience within a large organisation working with MDM
  • Experience working with B2B customer data (for matching, understanding and improving data quality)
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Understanding of external data improvement for B2B markets where you’re working with industry codes, building and maintaining corporate hierarchies
  • Familiar with DAMA frameworks and data management best practice
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working within agile environment
  • Bonus for experience/exposure to API/ETL processes
  • Degree in Maths, Data or CompSci is a plus
