We’ve teamed up with one of the UK’s fastest-growing private scientific businesses, operating as a group with a solution offering across healthcare, medicines and microbiological testing. Due to recent growth and an internal re-structure, they’re looking for a Senior Product Manager o join them in Corsham with a hybrid working approach (preferably 3 days a week on-site but open to discussion).

What You’ll be doing
You’ll be paving the way for product upkeep and development throughout the largest unit of the business, within a highly regulated environment. This is a great chance for a Product Manager who wants more of the coaching aspect alongside their current role, as you’ll be helping to drive business change through all levels of the business, from C-Suite through to graduate scientists.

The business has an already functioning product department in two of their business units, and having successfully converted these area to less reactionary development, they’re now looking for someone who wants to come in on a blank slate and leave their mark on how the organisation treats product. While there is essentially a blank slate, you’ll still need to have an appreciation for their current software development principles, and regulatory requirements throughout the business.

What experience you’ll need

  • Demonstratable experience in delivering Digital or technology focused products in a highly regulated environment. (Banking, finance, pharma, etc.)
  • Experience on Product Coaching to internal stakeholders, focused on getting an understanding of what you would need from stakeholders to successfully support them.
  • Experience working with an internal software development team, and leading them through product innovation and upkeep.
  • Confidence running workshops to understand the real business needs and business wants with regards to digital technology.
  • Confidence translating highly technical specifications from stakeholders into realistic development criteria.
  • Must be happy to travel to the office 3 days/week minimum, due to the highly sensitive nature of some of their work.

What you’ll get in return
