At The Launch Event, on Thursday, February 25th, 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we’ll be introducing what MotherBoard is all about, followed by speakers from sponsors notonthehighstreet: Sandra González, Product Design Director; Richard Zubrik, Chief Product & Technology Officer and Natalie Lineton, Head of People & Talent.
Sandra González is Product Design Director at notonthehighstreet, where she focuses on connecting UK small businesses with customers looking for creative products in a unique and meaningful way. She is also the Director and Founder of UX for Change, a global organisation that for the last five years has connected non-profit organisations with the UX community. She is currently trying to figure out how to scale collaboration globally, while inspiring design excellence.
Her previous design work spans from heavily trafficked eCommerce platforms to technology for aiding refugees with organisations such Microsoft, Just Eat, Coty, TalkTalk and EmpowerHack.
Richard is Chief Product & Technology Officer at notonthehighstreet. Richard is focused on developing and scaling the technical functionality of the marketplace to ensure that it provides the best platform to showcase the unique and innovative products, made by the UK’s best small creative businesses, to millions of customers.
Prior to joining notonthehighstreet, Richard was Technology Director – eCommerce at ASOS.com where he was accountable for every element of the eCommerce platform’s services and systems. He led the team which architected, developed and deployed new microservices to replace ASOS’ legacy systems, incorporating desktop, mobile app and native app experiences. Before ASOS, Richard spent seven years at Tesco, most recently as Head of Technology, where he led a cross-functional agile development team and where he was also responsible for the Tesco Direct platform.
Natalie Lineton is Head of People and Talent at notonthehighstreet, where she focuses on designing the best employee experiences for the team to realise their potential. She has a passion for learning & development and her particular focus in the last few years at NOTHS has been empowering managers to be confident in leading their team in their own authentic style. She is guided by her own personal values of kindness and fairness.
< MotherBoard is a community that has been created to drive positive change throughout the UK Technology and Data sectors. Creating environments that support the inclusion of working mothers offers a significant solution to the shortage of talent across the Technology and Data sectors. We’re here to educate, challenge, and create that shift. We’re not here to berate, we’re here to connect, embrace and champion positive change-makers.
Our community is open to all. Mothers working in tech, organisations who are up-skilling returners back into work as well as employers that are consciously looking to create inclusive programmes to attract mothers into their Technology and Data teams. We actively encourage females, males, and non-binary folk to join us and to get involved. >
