Motherhood Penalty: Motherboard Live Event Recap

Last week saw MotherBoard host their first ever in-person event as they tackle the often-forgotten topic: why are women that work in Tech leaving in droves at childbearing age?

The event was a big success, allowing for an open discussion on the challenges mums in Tech face daily and a provided place for people to network and chat face to face.

MotherBoard founder Sophie Creese had these words of reflection:

“Thank you to everyone who attended the MotherBoard event last week at the Not On The High Street HQ. We really enjoyed putting everything together and it was lovely to meet some of our community in-person, finally!!

We hope you enjoyed the panel and found the talk inspiring! A massive thank you to our speakers who took the time out of their very busy schedules to attend!

Thank you so much to our fantastic speakers! 👏🏼

Marie HemingwayBo A.Liane Katz FRSA, and Daniel López Rovira!

Thank you to all the businesses that supported us and donated items for our goodie bags! We hope that everyone who took one home has enjoyed the products! 🎁
