2 Business Analyst Positions Available.

Join a leading financial services business based in Bristol.

Work on technical customer-centric projects.

I am working with a well-known financial services company who are recruiting for 2 Business Analysts to join them to work on customer-centric innovation projects.

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing transparency and trust for customers in an ambitious project – refining data-driven strategies and enhancing automation processes as well as delivering compelling visual reports and dashboards.

What you’ll be doing
As Business Analyst, you will be working on business change projects; predominantly data-led projects along with IT systems and architecture. Your team will look after the more technically complex projects.

The business is growing and there’s never been a better time to join as they’re about to start a large transformation project, involving data warehouse, transitioning from legacy processes towards modern, automated systems. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, make recommendations for improvements and manage the backlog

What experience you’ll need to apply:

  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst position.
  • Strong experience within data, ideally you have worked as a Data Analyst/ Data Engineer before transitioning in to business analysis.
  • Experienced determining and documenting new functionality and business requirements for technology by liaising with different internal stakeholders and other technology arms within the business.
  • Working with the rest of the business analyst team to further refine these requirements in a systematic and detailed way.
  • Presenting analysis findings throughout different stages of implementation from initial scope through to go-live.
  • Working with technical teams to plan and create ticket backlogs and prioritisation of these.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Experience with SQL and/or python would be considered a plus.
  • Ideally some experience in data manipulation languages.
  • Experience within financial services / a regulatory environment would be valued.

What you’ll get in return for your experience:
There is a salary of up to £65000 on offer for someone who would meet most of the requirements, plus bonus and benefits. Importantly, the employer is committed to continuous learning, where you have access to extensive personal development initiatives, a good work life balance, hybrid working model with 1-2 days in their Bristol City Centre office and engagement: collaboration with a diversified team of passionate Business Analysts, PMs, Engineers and Architects.
