Digital Project Management jobs and careers

A career in digital project management involves creating project plans, agreeing to budgets and managing risks through the development lifecycle of projects, ensuring the work is of exceptional quality. Your responsibilities can include project planning, quality management, resourcing project risk and assumption management.

Why consider a career as a digital project manager?

If you’re determined to lead a streamlined process of managing online projects through from concept to finish, a digital project manager is a vibrant leadership role that holds all projects and developments together. What a career or job in digital project management may entail…

Often reporting to a Digital Director or Project Director, you’ll be responsible for scoping, production of project documentation, such as statements of work, project plans, and estimates & quotations, and you’ll be working with a variety of individuals internally, from Designers and UX, to Front End and Back End Developers, ultimately the work can be extremely varied.

As a Digital Project Director, you’ll take charge of project delivery for a group of high profile clients, delivering complex and innovative solutions spanning large scale website design and build or CMS development projects. Naturally, you’ll have a background in managing big budgets whether that’s coming from a range of clients from an agency background or working in-house. You’ll be used to taking complete ownership of project delivery and playing a key part in the leadership team of an agency, leading a team and managing the overall strategy for clients ensuring all projects are on time and budget.
