Their client base varies from small five-person teams and up to businesses with over 300 employees, across sectors including renewable energy, financial services, and design agencies. They’re proud to be leading the way having recently certified as a B Corp. They offset carbon emissions through carbon credits and tree planting, use carbon neutral equipment and recycle all their kit, and they regularly take part in fundraising activities for local charities.

To give back to the community, they also support emerging talent into the industry by hiring apprentices and partner with local education providers to deliver cyber programmes. This is helping them to stand out from the crowd as they’re finding their customers want to align with suppliers who share their values and are mindful of their environmental impact.

What you’ll be doing

The entire company is made up of around 30 people, but you’ll be joining a small team where every day will be different but ultimately. This could include on-premise to cloud server migrations, network installations, and Information Security projects. Working in a 3rd line capacity, you’ll be identifying the root cause of issues and work with team members on complex issues and incidents. You’ll be working in partnership with multiple customers, supporting projects both remotely and on site. With direct contact with customers at all levels from the shop floor to the boardroom, this one is for you if you enjoy a varied workload and have great people skills. Managing your own workload and deadlines, you’ll have autonomy and will ensure SLAs and budgets are met. You will attend project update meetings, escalate any issues, and make recommendations to guide the customer on the best use of their IT solutions.

You’ll be expected to come into the office at least twice per week, with the rest of your time split accordingly between on-site project work at customer sites and remote working.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

You’ll be joining a business you’ll feel proud to be a part of – they have a great reputation and really look after their employees which is reflected in their low employee turnover and focus on company culture. You’ll receive a salary up to £42k, 1 week in 4 on-call (all remote, approx. £3.5K per year), plus there are a whole heap of additional perks including: access to training courses to help you to develop your skills, Private Medical Insurance and Death in Service cover, 24 days annual leave which increases with service (and options to buy/sell more), gifts to celebrate birthdays/work anniversaries, annual charity volunteering day and more.
