IBM MDM Developer Opportunity in Major UK Transformation Programme

A major opportunity has arisen for an IBM MDM Developer to join a significant transformation programme at a leading financial services firm. This role is a cornerstone in a large-scale project aimed at reshaping the future of data management in a global setting. The selected candidate will be instrumental in driving advancements that benefit the organisation’s operations, its people and customers.

What you’ll be doing

Your involvement will be pivotal in the Master & Reference Data Management team, with responsibilities including:

  • Leading the deployment and tuning of IBM MDM for enhanced customer data management.
  • Developing and implementing post-processing rules, and overseeing IBM MDM upgrades.
  • Contributing to the customisation of the Stewardship Centre.
  • Collaborating across various teams to broaden the MDM capability.
  • Ensuring data integrity and bolstering data-driven decision-making processes.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Proficiency in IBM Infosphere MDM Advanced Edition.
  • Experience in modifying probabilistic matching engines.
  • Knowledge of the IBM data model, BPM Stewardship Centre, and its customization.
  • Skill in developing composite services and using IBM Application Developer.
  • Background in implementing MDM notifications and custom services.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and Java microservices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and databases (Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL).
  • Experience with REST APIs and messaging queues (Kafka, IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ).
