Are you adept at turning complex datasets into actionable insights? Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to lead crucial initiatives in Analytics, Data Science and Machine Learning.

This role offers the chance to work hands-on with Databricks, Azure and AWS. Positioned in a leading UK-based financial services company, this opportunity is perfect for someone ready to mentor and steer cross-functional projects that impact the company’s strategic direction.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Craft and manage sophisticated data pipelines on cloud and on-prem platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to leverage data in new, innovative ways that drive business intelligence and enhance customer insights.
  • Lead the design and execution of agile projects, using a fail-fast philosophy to streamline success.
  • Strategically evolve the company’s data architecture to meet business demands while maintaining the highest standards of data quality and accessibility.

What Experience You’ll Need to Apply:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data engineering.
  • Expertise in programming with Python and SQL
  • Strong background in Azure and/or AWS, with a solid understanding of Databricks.
  • Proven ability to develop scalable ETL processes on big data platforms and manage large datasets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
