Opportunity to own both established products and new product initiatives.

Blend of product delivery, discovery and strategy in a growing SaaS company.

£55K - £65K salary with flexibility around hours and location.

A growing SaaS business in the transport and public sector space is looking for a Product Manager to join their team. Their products are already widely used across the UK, with strong market adoption and an exciting roadmap focused on new products, international growth and adjacent markets.

This is a hands-on Product Manager role in a collaborative, close-knit business. You’ll work across established products as well as early-stage discovery projects, partnering closely with developers, customers and stakeholders to shape what gets built and why.

What you’ll be doing
As Product Manager, you’ll take ownership of product initiatives from discovery through to delivery. Day to day, that means managing backlogs, refining requirements, speaking directly with customers and helping prioritise what delivers the most value.

You’ll work across a mature flagship SaaS product with an established customer base, alongside newer initiatives exploring different markets and applications of the existing technology. Some projects will be well defined, others will still be in discovery phase, so they’re looking for someone comfortable working with a level of ambiguity and figuring things out collaboratively.
You’ll partner closely with developers throughout the software development lifecycle, helping clarify scope, shape solutions and maintain quality. The role sits in a smaller product function, so there’s plenty of opportunity to influence how product practices evolve as the business grows.

This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing strategy with delivery. Someone who likes speaking with users, understanding problems and getting into the detail, rather than staying purely at roadmap level.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Experience working as a Product Manager, Product Owner or similar product-focused role within a SaaS or software business.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and end users to understand needs and gather feedback.
  • Experience prioritising product backlogs and balancing business and user needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of customer-facing digital products and UX/UI considerations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience within a smaller business, start-up or scale-up environment would be beneficial.
  • Exposure to sectors such as transport, education, government or B2G would be useful but isn’t essential.
  • Any experience with prototyping tools, data analysis, GIS products or AI-enabled products would be an added bonus.

What you’ll get in return for your experience
The salary on offer is in the range of £55k – £65k, alongside a strong benefits package including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, enhanced pension contributions and flexible working arrangements. It’s a business that gives people autonomy and trusts them to manage their own work. There’s a strong collaborative culture where ideas and input are valued across the team, alongside plenty of scope to grow your role over time as the product function continues to evolve. You’ll also be joining at an interesting stage of growth, with the opportunity to help shape both existing products and future product direction as the company expands into new markets.

Please note: this role is open to UK-based candidates only.
