    AI Software Engineer

A leading automotive AI specialist is going through an exciting period of growth due to recent investment and are looking for a Software Engineer to join their platform team in either Bristol opr Cambridge. With world-class researchers, engineers & scientists already integrated into the business, the support structure they offer is second-to-none and would be a great next step for those looking to progress their career within the AI space. What experience you’ll need Proven experience in Python development.  Significant knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation. Solid understanding of AWS or a similar platform. Experience working in Linux environments, using build tools like GCC/CMake.  Awareness of CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Bamboo or Jenkins.  Passion or interest in Artificial Intelligence would be useful.  What you’ll be doing  Joining the platform team, you’ll play an integral part in deploying and optimising the business’ self-driving technology onto both cloud-based simulation environments and their own in-house fleet of vehicles. R&D is a massive focus for the company with regular data collection initiatives put in place to ensure continuous testing with the latest software releases. You’ll be involved in developing tools to launch, maintain & monitor their autonomous stack, working closely with other areas of the business (including Machine Learning) to maintain communication & seamless releases. Our client are seeking a Software Engineer to join their established team, to develop signal processing applications. Working with cutting edge tech, you will assist on the development of a new hardware platform for the business.  What experience you will need: DSP Algorithm Design/Implementation Development and validation in MATLAB Test and development support apps. Experience identifying DSP software specifications and architecting DSP functions. A background in telecoms would be advantageous. What you’ll be doing: You will work on the development of signal processing application software in line with company hardware. You will identify requirements and architect DSP functions, reviewing hardware requirements in the process. You will develop and validate in MATLAB. You will run and develop support apps.
