    Head of eCommerce

Unique product range.  Forward-thinking approach to eCommerce. A lovely multi-channel retailer, based in a beautiful rural location, is seeking an experienced Head of eCommerce to join their established team. You will be responsible for driving their B2C online growth through management and development the website, and providing a stable online platform for all channels to ensure maximum conversion. What you'll be doing This is a new role for the business, which is at a pivotal point in their growth plans, so you'll have the opportunity to really take ownership of the online channels and make your mark. With control over the eCommere budget, your key remit is to assess the current strategy and put together a successful plan for the team to implement. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure that the marketing strategy and campaigns are executed effectively across all channels. In a similar vein, you'll manage the digital agency to develop and deliver the digital marketing strategy, reporting on KPIs and sharing insights to optimise traffic and conversion. Maintaining a customer-centric user experience is of paramount importance, in addition to ensuring consistency of the brand image, therefore a key element of this role is site merchandising and managing web developments and integrations. You'll also work with the Buying team to check that product descriptions are correct and support SEO, as well as with the operations department on logistics and stock availability to find commercial solutions that meet customer needs.The IT team will assist you in keeping the website functionality is in line with all in-house and external security measures, and that all processes are GDPR compliant, particularly in relation to the customer database. Finally, you will consistently identify opportunities and activity to support the growth of online channels, reporting monthly on this to Senior Management, in addition to managing the digital channel attributions reports. What experience you'll need to apply Experience managing an eCommerce website end-to-end. B2C retail experience. Experience using Shopify/Plus is preferable.  Strong numeracy and analytical skills.  Experience using the full Google suite - Google Analytics is essential.  Experience in developing digital marketing strategies Technically minded with a customer focused approach  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Experience managing external agencies. What you'll get in return for your experience  A salary of £50-60k is on offer, dependent on experience. The Influencer / Social Marketing Manager is a new role in the team to work closely with the Social Media Executive, driving traffic through organic channels and relationships with social leaders. What youll be doingThe brand was started over 10 years ago where the founder decided to put people at the core of the business, both the staff and their customer. This has led to fantastic growth of a market leading product range and a culture the team are proud to be a part of. As a marketer it helps to be passionate about the products you are marketing! The Influencer / Social Marketing Manager will report into the eCommerce Manager and working with the Social Media Executive to bring the brand to life through storytelling and great content creation through all digital channels. While the Social Executive will implement hands-on campaigns across all social media channels, youll be the driving force in putting together the strategy and approach by the brand. As you can tell from the job title, a core element of the role is to manage Influencers (known as their brand ambassadors) and create new relationships with similar individuals. These are brand advocates and who will help inspire your customer base through engaging content, in turn driving relevant traffic to the eCommerce site. You will also develop partnerships and collaborate with like-minded brands and events that will help the business connect and engage with the customer base. What experience youll need Experience managing and building Influencer relationships to raise brand profiles.  Confident developing and managing a Social Media strategy, communicating this to the Social Media Executive in the team.  A track record of creating and delivering engagement strategies that builds a community of brand advocates.  Proactive, resourceful, curious and loves thinking outside the box.  Enjoys a collaborative approach as part of a small team. What youll get in return for your talentsThere is a competitive salary on offer, depending on experience.
