Ability to turn technical content into simple, non-technical language. Ability to communicate with a wide range of both beginners and experienced users topics around cyber security. Ideally previous experience writing theory and content. Able to read up on and research new developments and topics in the field of cyber security and feed back your findings to the team.What you’ll be doing As part of the cyber security team you will be tasked with creating the content for their real-time platform. The content you create will be driven by both market trends and from client requests. You will use various research methods to keep up to date with the market and establish new threats as and when they emerge, you will then collaborate with the team during daily stand ups and create the appropriate material. This can then be integrated with the platform and rolled out to users in real-time. As well as creating new material you will also maintain the existing platform ensuring it is kept up to date. The business is constantly trying to find new and innovative ways of working and this role will play an integral part in that journey. What skills you'll need  Proven experience as a Security Architect on large digital applications. Extensive background in Retail/eCommerce security and/or AWS security (eCommerce highly preferred). Awareness of software/web development lifecycle. Great knowledge of cloud security (Amazon Web Services). Any understanding of Agile as well as SecDevOps and its related tech (things like Vericode, Black Duck etc.) would be beneficial. The business is currently going through a massive digital transformation which involves a large re-platforming project, operating across 21 countries and focusing on customer experience for multiple target audiences. As they look to double the size of the business over the next 3 years, this is a unique opportunity to be one the onsite security specialists within a well-established and innovative division. What skills you'll need  Proven cloud security experience, specifically with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Good understanding Agile and the ‘DevSecOps approach to cloud security (things like Black Duck, Vericode, CI/CD). Significant knowledge of vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, secure coding practices and the use of encryption within cloud security. Awareness of the OWASP & NIST (or similar) frameworks would be beneficial. A relevant qualification (CISSP, CISA etc.) would also be helpful but not essential. Awareness of software/web development lifecycle. Any knowledge of the following: Jenkins, Bamboo, Atlassian Suite, Terraform, Ansible would be advantageous. What you'll be doing Joining the connected products division in Malmesbury, you will act as a key member of the security team with a focus on Internet of Things (IoT).
