    Senior Product Biochemist

    Be a key player in the success of a growing Biotech Be involved in the deployment of a product from clinical trials Option to work remotely for half the week This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Product Biochemist in a rapidly growing therapeutic biotech that is developing next-generation treatment for diseases. You will help the development and optimisation of their product into its final stages for clinical use. The role will be split 50/50 between lab and office work. What you’ll be doing As a Senior Product Biochemist, you will be involved in the design and development of new products through literature searches and drafting of new protocols.   What experience you’ll need to apply? 3+ years working in a biochemistry lab Project and people management as you will line manage two people Data analysis experience and the ability to produce reports from ELISA’s PowerBI is advantageous Worked on development of lateral flow immunoassays Worked with blood and understand endotoxins, antibody stability and structure and have knowledge of magnetic beads and conjugation methods. You will help transition their product into its final stages for clinical use. The role will be split between mostly office-based apart from one day which will be in the Lab.  What you’ll be doing As a Product Development Scientist, you will be involved in the design and development of new products through formulation, packaging, and stability/usability studies. The ideal candidate would have worked with products going through clinical trials. What experience you’ll need to apply? Project and people management Experience in outsource testing, regulatory requirements, and supplier management Formulation experience especially liquid base formulation Involved in product development Understand endotoxins, antibody stability and structure and know about magnetic beads. In line with ambitious growth, they are seeking Stem Cell Scientist (all levels) to join the team. What you’ll be doing: As the Stem Cell Scientist, you will lead the cell culture development team to create robust, scalable, and low-cost protocols. You will also create novel formulations of cell culture media, manage the lab including SOP’s, reprogramming of novel cell lines and provide support to the R&D and Production teams related to iPSCs (sourcing, characterisation, traceability, quality control and inventory management). This is a great opportunity to develop innovative solutions for highly complex cell culture challenges. What experience you’ll need to apply? PhD in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or similar fields. Experience with pluripotent stem cells (ideally iPSC). Able to work independently on experiment design, execution, and optimisation. Nice to have experience: Cell reprogramming, with mRNA reprogramming highly desirable. Mammalian species. Strong record of scientific publications and/or patents. Serum free media. Muscle and/or fat protocols.
