    Motor Control Design Engineer   Based from a new site in Taunton Full project control with an R+D focus Growing company with varied and technical projects as well as future progression   Our client is looking for an experienced Motor Control Design Engineer to assist within the R+D function of the business. This is a growth role, due to the company’s continued success in the last 12 months and will suit candidates with experience in motor control solutions for low inductance applications and FOC/sinusoidal algorithms.   What you will need: Excellent experience of motor control design Implementation of FOC and sinusoidal algorithms from C Looking to work on a varied cradle to grave R+D projects CANbus, Modbus, EtherCAT, RF Comms knowledge Experience with of PIC, Atmel, AVR or ARM microcontrollers   What you will be doing: Your day to day activity will varied to reflect the variety of projects you will be supporting on, but you will take full control of cradle to grave projects. You will work within a team of 4 to develop and new products and improve existing designs and concepts.     Junior Process Engineer

    Junior Process Engineer   Based in Oban, with infrequent UK and International travel Working on the latest sustainable technology at the forefront of their industry Excellent benefits and long term career potential   Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Process engineer to join a growing team based in Oban, Scotland. You will contribute to scaling up production for Sustainable Packaging, Protein/Fibre and Nutraceuticals, derived from seaweed. You will work in a team of 9, that will continue to grow throughout 2021 and beyond.   What you will need: Degree qualified in a Chemical/Process engineering discipline or equivalent Experience within a Process Engineering focussed role. You will benefit from having experience in agricultural (Dairy) or marine (Algae) environments, however is not essential Comfortable working in a collaborative R+D environment, where you will be involved in a wide range of tasks day to day There will be some work carried out, on partner location in the UK and overseas, so you will need to be happy to travel when required. His is infrequent and most of your work will be in Oban   What you’ll be doing: The role will involve the upscaling of the current process, including equipment and process selection. This will be a varied and collaborative role, with work across analysis and optimisation of product recovery, NPI, project scheduling, develop SOPs and you will always need to consider and adhere to food safety standards.
