This is a great opportunity for someone who’ll enjoy all the thrills and challenges that come with building a start-up business from the ground up, but will also have the support to leverage from one of the largest pet care businesses in the world.  About our Growth Marketer / Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Lead role  Reporting directly to the CEO, the Growth Marketer / Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Lead will drive the growth of the brand and the business by winning the hearts and minds of new puppy owners and turning them into engaged, loyal subscribers across both paid and organic channels.  As the first marketing hire on the team, the Growth Marketer / Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Lead will be a member of the founding team and will play a key role in building the company from the ground up. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in mobile app marketing and will have experience using MMPs (e.g. Adjust or AppsFlyer).  What you’ll be doing as our Growth Marketer / Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Lead We have ambitious goals to hit in our first year of operation - and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to get stuck in and help us achieve our growth & product-market fit objectives. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Developing a deep understanding of new puppy owners, their needs, pains & motivations – segmenting them into key personas  Developing & executing user journeys across all our touchpoints (in and out of app) across the funnel to deliver optimised conversion, leveraging tools such as email, push notifications, in-app messaging & community  Owning the pirate funnel (AAARRR) from awareness to referral, determining areas of improvement opportunity, prioritising & executing marketing activities Continually testing and innovating to optimise campaigns & channels for the best ROI End to end ownership and analysis of performance goals (ROI and KPIs)  Analysing user behaviour, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution Driving Zigzag’s organic and paid presence including building relationships with new audiences, creating community to significantly grow the number of Zigzag users. What you’ll be doing Day to day you will work closely with the eCommerce, customer service and logistics teams to support their operational and logistical needs whilst also supporting the wider eCommerce business achieve their impressive growth plans. They've grown by 40% in headcount since the start of the pandemic and are experiencing excellent YoY financial growth. Their HQ is in Gloucestershire and easily commutable from Bristol and surrounding areas. The ideal is for this person to be in 2-3 days a week but they can be more flexible for the right person. What you’ll be doing The company is looking to further invest in their Digital Marketing and Lead Generation activity, and the role of the Digital Marketing Manager is to take the lead on that, own the strategy and it’s implementation with an emphasis on CRM and Lead Generation via HubSpot. You'll be working alongside the CEO and have their complete buy-in - there's huge scope for progression for the right person, and this role could become much bigger. To start with you'll manage a team of 3 across SEO, PPC and Content, and have the support of an SEO agency and a Paid Media agency. You’ll quickly get under the bonnet of the company’s digital marketing activity and build the strategy moving forward. They've already invested heavily in HubSpot but there's so much more that can be done with it - user journey design, automation, SEO/PPC (via the team and agencies), acquisition and retention, and building sales funnels are part of the job description. You'll certainly be strategic in this role, and how hands-on you want to be is up to you. What experience you’ll need to apply   The ideal candidate is an experienced Digital Marketing Manager who is strategic but knows enough about user journey design, automation, SEO/PPC, acquisition and retention, and building sales funnels to get the most out of the team and agency partners, whilst building out a long term growth strategy. Up to date knowledge of HubSpot is pretty much essential but please enquire if you think you have enough experience and your knowledge of HubSpot is slightly out of date. Previous experience working with a SAAS business is also needed.
