We’re working with a Cardiff based integrated marketing agency who are recruiting for a Creative Services Manager to join the team. This is a brand-new role that has been created due to ongoing success. You will manage the creative services team and also work with clients delivering a range of projects from TV, animation, video, photography and audio.
 
What you’ll be doing
As Creative Services Manager you will lead the creative services team. You’ll ensure the production and delivery of high-quality work within set timelines and budgets and will be responsible for the resource allocation, operational efficiency and strategic planning to drive the agency’s success.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Manage production campaigns for clients in a client-facing role.
  • Lead and manage the creative services team to deliver projects to the expected standards of quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive operational change initiatives to enhance agency performance and efficiency.
  • Analyse resource trends and develop strategies to optimise team capabilities.
  • Manage collaboration and output among creative professionals, including art directors, copywriters, designers, videographers, and more.
  • Oversee the agency’s job management system to ensure effective workflow and resource utilisation.
  • Stay updated on technology advancements and suggest innovations to improve agency processes.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and freelancers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot issues within the team and production process, both internally and externally.

 
What experience you’ll need

  • Proven experience in creative services management within the advertising or marketing industry as a Creative Services Manager or a Production Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and best practices, with experience in TV ad production being highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Understanding of budget management and commercial considerations in creative production.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with advertising production processes and industry best practices.
