    Local/Regional Marketing Manager

Covering the North region.  The main emphasis of the role will be strategic, local marketing.This is a great opportunity to join a leading consumer brand in a brand new role. With a large number of branches across the UK, you will work with local practices to understand their challenges and help create and deliver effective marketing plans and strategies with Head Office support.  What you’ll be doing  Working for a very well known brand, you will work with a number of local practices to understand the local marketplace, customers, competitors, strengths and weaknesses, and will support these with bespoke marketing plans and strategies.  Managing the entire region you will be expected to travel to different sites regularly, but you will benefit from home working and an expectation to visit the Bristol Head Office approximately once a week.  You will learn to understand the challenges that individual practices face, and in turn, what support they may need, with some needing more than others.Once the plan is in place, you will hand over to the local Practice Managers for them to execute the tactics and campaigns.  It will be imperative that you stay in touch and build strong relationships with these Managers, to understand how the results are looking, and if they need any further ongoing support.  What experience you’ll need to apply  Previous experience in a cross channel, B2C Marketing role. Solid Campaign Management experience. You will be responsible for driving sales and profit for the UK and Ireland websites, managing product and on-site content, as well as the promotional plan.What you’ll be doing Reporting into the Head of eCommerce, your remit is to achieve sales and profit targets through promotional activity, merchandising best practice, search strategies and recommendation strategies. This will involve leading the merchandising team and managing their work streams, ensuring they deliver against targets, and developing Trading Managers to work collaboratively across the business in order to create category specific growth plans.  In addition, you will work closely with the design team to create assets which support your team’s activity. You will oversee the activity plan, ensuring it is in line with the retail plan, whilst simultaneously working closely with the design team to create assets which support promotional activity. Experience of managing search and promotions. Ability to analyse data and make recommendations for change. Innovative in approach and willing to develop & test new ideas in order to drive performance. Demonstrable track record of developing and implementing business growth strategies that have delivered digital sales growth, ideally in a retail environment. Deep understanding of customer behaviour.
