Do you have experience delivering eCommerce or website development projects? Are you fascinated by the digital landscape? What you’ll be doing As Senior Project Manager you will be joining a fast growing and well-established eCommerce agency to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients, and ensure requirements, objectives and expectations of said clients are met. You will work closely with a friendly and competent team of Project and Account Managers, whilst working cross functionally with development, creative and marketing teams, to deliver eCommerce website development and digital marketing projects from inception to completion. Your role will be to ensure projects are delivered on time, budget, scope and to a high-quality standard, and as a Senior PM, to able to offer coaching and guidance to more junior members of the team. Previous experience in a fast paced, agile Agency environment. Understanding of eCommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify or BigCommerce. You’ll need to be a confident communicator, hands on approach to problem solving and ensuring that things keep running smoothly. You will be ambitious and driven, and a passionate about a career within eCommerce and digital. As a communicative and confident stakeholder manager, you’ll utilise your previous experience to keep everyone informed along the way, obtaining buy-in and sign off for briefs, ensuring everything runs smoothly from inception to delivery. Comfortable with excel and different software systems and tools. Naturally you’ll be extremely organised, ensuring projects are being delivered on time and on budget and everything runs like clockwork.     Healthcare innovation specialist making their first dev hire.  Remote working 3-4 days a week.  Lots of autonomy, constant new & emerging tech being integrated.  A healthcare innovation specialist who produce medical devices & instrumentation is looking for their first internal Developer after using outsourced services for the last few years. With a HQ in Bromsgrove and a global reach across France, Germany, Cairo and more, this culture-driven business are looking for someone to join a small team with lots of autonomy and control over technical direction and wider development strategy.  What experience you’ll need Proven experience in the MS stack; ASP.Net, VB.Net, Web/Windows Services, Entity Framework.  Any knowledge if C# / .Net Core would be great; you’ll help to implement it.  Understanding of SQL, PL/SQL and Oracles databases (SQL essential, Oracle nice-to-have).  Awareness of REST/SOAP, 3rd party APIs.  Working knowledge of TFS/Git or similar for documentation.  Deadline-driven with ability to work on concurrent projects at a fast pace.  What you’ll be doing Historically the team have used outsourced services and contractors for most of their IT. Over the last few years they’ve built up permanent resource and are now looking to complete their transformation by bringing in their first in-house Dev. The aim is to modernise the code within their systems (there’s 10-12 legacy apps) which currently use .Net into an Oracle/SQL database. They’d like this person to lead the introduction of new tools and frameworks (including things like C# and .Net Core), re-writing certain aspects and optimising code where necessary. The apps all work functionally but have some slight performance issues in an older codebase, so you’ll be responsible for bringing this up to date and documenting your work concisely for future hires. The role will be fully remote initially, with 4 days remote a week once restrictions lift. With a brand-new team to build and rapid growth plans in place for 2021, this is a great opportunity for a dedicated Web Engineer to progress their career further whilst rewarding themselves by solving real-life challenges through technology. What experience you’ll need Proven experience in web app development using MS tech. Significant experience with C# .Net Core.   Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and ideally a modern library (React, Angular).  Knowledge of containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes.  Cloud-based development on MS Azure.  Awareness of DevOps ways of working, ideally with Azure DevOps experience.  Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL. Previous exposure to Visual Studio & SQL Management Studio would be good. Agile experience including Scrum, Unit Testing, TDD. What you’ll be doing Joining a brand-new team within the wider software function in Malvern, you’ll play an integral role in the progression of their web product suite. The business offers a massive range of products and are going through a large transformation which aims to migrate a lot of their older desktop products to cloud/web-based applications. Your focus is to drive the progression of these modern web apps, introducing new and emerging tech where necessary and utilising a DevOps way of working to add new features & functionalities before deploying to the cloud. It’ll be expected you communicate well within your team, often leading sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives etc. and to guide more junior developers whilst you do this. You will be able to provide guidance and design direction as appropriate whilst solving product problems with wider engineering teams.  What you’ll get in return for your talents You’ll be entitled to 23 days holiday (increasing to 25 with service), flexi-time (core hours 10-12 and 2-3 Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week) with the opportunity for remote working with a trip to the office once a week.
