This is a 9 month maternity cover role but as they're winning lots of new business and growing steadily, there is a decent chance that a new permanent role could be created in the future.     Product Manager/ Product Director

    Product Director opportunity to join a leading digital agency. Join an employee owned business.  Work with their government clients on large scale projects. We’re working with an established digital agency that, due to growth are now searching for a Senior Product Owner to work within their public sector client base, owning the product vision and leading on projects.  What you’ll be doing As Product Director, you will come in take a step back and be responsible for designing, developing and owning the product roadmap and prioritising development efforts to enable the businesses to drive proactive and very targeted growth within your client base. You’ll be translating features and developments in the product roadmap into details technical specifications and will oversee the delivery of this through guiding the activity of the development functions with the support of Delivery Managers. This is an end to end role, you will be doing everything you’d expect from Agile rituals, through to creating user stories and test cases, through to managing and reporting on the backlog and progress against the roadmap.  This role is strategic, you will set the vision for your clients on product and digital strategies in collaboration with your clients and the wider team and you will be responsible for the quality of the products, the go to person for any strategic product advice, able to help your colleagues and support them by being the point of escalation driving positive outcomes.  What experience you’ll need  You will currently be working as a Product Manager/ Senior Product Manager/ Product Director/ Head of Product within the public sector or in a similar role crossing over into product such as a UX Designer, UX Lead, Developer, Tech Director or even Delivery Manager/ Senior Digital Project Manager. Understanding of GDS framework and have delivered projects encompassing GDS (Government Digital Service) assessments and tollgates within that.  You will understand the complexities, challenges and solutions that have worked for you. Strong technical understanding, experience working on projects across user experience, integrations, content management and content strategy.  A natural leader, that can mentor, coach and lead on projects, coming up with solutions and being the go to person for all product related questions from strategy through to delivery. Analytical mind and passionate about customers and building the best possible user experience, monitoring your metrics and see whether you’re delivering.  Strong communication skills as this role is client-facing and involves a lot of stakeholder management. Agile experience.  Experience in strategic product development as you’ll own the direction of your clients digital products.     Health/BioTech start-up supporting the fight against Coronavirus.  Full remote working with no plans to change.  First DevOps hire with autonomy & control over tech.  I’m working with an incredible BioTech start-up who have plans to scale-up globally in 2021 whilst playing an integral role in the fight against Coronavirus. As part of this growth, they’re looking to hire their first DevOps Engineer to support a cross-functional team with automation and scaling, working with an insanely vast amount of data in a serverless environment. This business is fully remote with no plans to change once restrictions lift, so you can be based anywhere in the UK.  What skills you’ll need Proven experience with AWS and its ecosystem (EC2, RDS, Lambda etc.). Ability to manage Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).  Knowledge of Microservice architecture and serverless.  Comfortable working with very large amounts of data.  Advocate for automation and scalability, ideally having taken a start-up through a similar journey.  Ability to create and manage CI/CD pipelines, as well as automating release/deployment processes. Understanding of traditional infrastructure; Linux, Networking, VPNs etc. Ideally you’ll have some coding experience though you won’t need to code much.  Appreciation for security and sensitive data. Any knowledge or interest in Big Data, ML, Health Data would be super useful.  What you’ll be doing This is their first DevOps hire, you’ll be joining a small team empowering the developers and creating/building pipelines using tools of your choice. You’ll take control of a progressive microservice architecture using Lambdas, working with massive amounts of data and supporting the build of a new service platform which is first-of-its-kind in the world! You’ll be an advocate for automation, managing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and operating across several platforms which includes machine learning, web and bio-information in the cloud. They’re starting to bring on some much bigger clients so you’ll help them scale up globally with security at the forefront of your mind considering the sensitivity of the data you’re working with. They’re now on the hunt for an experience eCommerce Merchandiser to join the team, to help drive website performance and maintain their market-leading position.  What you’ll be doing  This role will partner with merchandising, marketing, and inventory management to launch and merchandise product, category and special feature assortments on the site. You will largely be focused on the creation, management and utilisation of visual and written assets across multiple languages. You’ll be working with external agencies, a small close-knit digital team and various stakeholders from different departments in the larger global organisation.  Day to day you will manage product set-up and launch across multiple eCommerce stores, ensure all images, videos and copy are accurately presented, and use a combination of Excel Spreadsheets, Photoshop and the website CMS to prepare these assets for upload to the relevant websites. Furthermore, you will work collaboratively with internal teams and outside development agencies on site enhancements and bug fixes, assist with A/B testing and ensure the customer journey is fully optimised.  What experience you’ll need to apply Ecommerce experience, working in a similar online trading, content or merchandising role. Demonstrable experience using online trading/ merchandising techniques to optimise websites and drive conversions.  A “can do” attitude and be capable of working under minimum supervision. Excellent attention to detail. Knowledge and/or experience of Content Management Solutions. Proficiency in Google Analytics, Excel and Photoshop.
