To achieve this, you'll be supported by a team of two, as well as at least one major external content provider.  You will need to develop productive relationships across the organisation and be committed to delivering to the highest professional standards and brand strategy – in particular the brand positioning, tone of voice and values. Taking responsibility of upcoming and exciting new projects, the eCommerce Manager will join a driven team, and manage two self-sufficient, direct reports.  You will take the lead on developing strategies to ensure all opportunities are maximised on-site, with an effective user experience and targeted, personalised content. Ability to use Google Analytics and other online tools, such as CMS, basic HTML & Photoshop. Work with all the latest tech & design tools - React, React Native, Redux Angular, Java, Python etc. A start-up company in Oxford with a great financial backing are going through a growth phase, having recently built a brilliant development team they are looking for a couple of talented engineers to support growth, especially during this critical phase where they are launching this year. The company deliver a market leading product that reduces energy consumption and lowering consumer’s carbon footprint, having saved their customers almost £3million in 3 years they aim to make a real impact in this sector. It’s a great opportunity to learn/up-skill with some really great tech, work on a green product and be part of a challenging but rewarding environment. What skills you’ll be needing AWS, Lambda, EC2, DynamoDB, Kinesis. ES6 JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS.  React or React Native would be very beneficial, or other libraries (Angular, Node). Linux, Unix. Some experience with design tools such as Sketch, Illustrator would be nice. Comfortable assembling prototypes with Principle, AfterEffects, Invision etc. would be good. Data Visualization. Good knowledge of REST and Sass. Strong UX skills. TDD + unit testing is highly desirable. DevOps & cloud (AWS) is also desirable.  Experience with iOS/Android and common browser platforms is a bonus. What you’ll be doing You will be working as a full-stack software engineer, whether this has emphasis on front-end or back-end that is up to you, as there are multiple positions you can choose what you’d prefer to focus on. The environment will be fast-paced and agile so you must work well under pressure. As well as coding on a daily basis you will be dipping into the UI/UX for the product working on various projects with other engineers, designers, product specialists and the head of systems. They want someone who will work closely with customers, stake holders and external contractors to ensure quality. Working with the team in Central Oxford you will also be expected to share knowledge, document and test your solutions but also interact regularly with the product, marketing and data science teams to ensure the most exciting product propositions. You can have the opportunity to build mobile apps, back-end systems and create compelling UI as part of a really talented cross-functional team.
