The business is expanding quickly; they’ve got a client list made up of some of the biggest names in consumer technology. What you’ll be doing Reporting in to the Head of Design, you’ll be working alongside fellow designers, copywriters and the wider marketing department to produce engaging creative communications for a wide range of well-established retailers. One day you could be supporting the marketing department with designing integrated collatoral to promote the business, the next you could be collaborating with the creative team to think up an internal brand to roll out content across various channels, including digital such as motion graphics. Ideally you’ve some integrated design experience, but if you’re a master of offline print then there will be opportunity to evolve your skills in to the digital space. We're looking for a designer who has an eye for creative branding, is confident taking briefs end-to-end, and is a master of typography and layout. What experience you’ll need At least some commercial experience, or a fantastic graduate. A portfolio full of integrated designs, including print through to artwork. Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Ideally some B2B experience but not essential. After effects desirable. Hands-on and strategic role.  Flexible working is considered.  A pivotal role within this thriving, multi-channel retailer, the eCommerce Manager is responsible for the trading performance and customer experience of the website. The site is seeing growth, but the business is now seeking an experienced eCommerce expert who would relish the opportunity to focus on delivering substantial growth through this channel.  What youll be doing  The eCommerce Manager will own all aspects of the website experience, and be responsible for delivering against targets and managing budgets.  Day to day, youll need to be both strategic and hands-on; from implementing PPC & SEO campaigns, managing online content, and using Google Analytics to continuously improve the customer journey, to identifying and recommending a new site platform to take the eCommerce proposition to the next level.  Youll use your commercial mind-set to deliver a winning trading strategy which drives online conversion rates, and provide relevant insights to the wider business on performance and customer response to trade initiatives.  A large part of your role will involve working with and communicating effectively with stakeholders. A friendly and collaborative working environment too, where everyone is really passionate about eCommerce and Digital.  What you'll be doing The roles will vary depending on your level of experience, however, both are hands-on so there are some elements where similar skills are required. Joining an established team of 8 within eCommerce, you'll report into the eCommerce Manager and work alongside other Online Merchandisers to optimise the overall customer journey. Being pureplay this is massively important to the team, therefore really rewarding that your efforts to drive conversions will deliver significant commercial outcomes.  There is a continual process of analysis and implementation in the Online Merchandising team. Youll ensure that the product imagery and text are correct, uploading content through the Magento CMS and writing SEO friendly product descriptions. Content writers are also on hand for bigger projects. This requires real attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple spreadsheets to organise your categories effectively.  The more strategic aspect of this role, which will form a great element of the Senior eCommerce Merchandiser position, is the ability to draw insights from the analytics data on customer behaviour. What categories are doing well, and which products are underperforming - and why is that? Youll have a real curiosity in diving into customer data and using this to drive overall strategy. More senior members will be comfortable discussing weekly and monthly performance with stakeholders across the business.  What experience you'll need Online merchandising experience from an eCommerce setting.  Given the close attention to data in both roles, someone who is really confident in managing spreadsheets and using this to handle data is key (the team love a good spreadsheet!). Being comfortable with various formulae and techniques such as vlookups.  Fantastic attention to detail, especially with imagery and product descriptions.  Good commercial awareness and understanding of how eCommerce Merchandising impacts online turnover.  Excellent problem solving ability and a passion to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.  A massive passion for eCommerce! Often these roles are limited to PPC or Paid Social, so it’s great to have that breadth of experience in the position.  Working hands on with these channels the Digital Marketing Manager will help lead on strategy, leaving you to drive implementation yourself and continually refine / develop the paid search campaigns. To aid the next stage of growth they are looking for a PPC Manager to focus on the UK market. What youll be doing Reporting into the regional lead you will be in charge of a mix of channels to help drive traffic into the eCommerce site. These will include Paid Search (PPC), Google shopping, Affiliates, Social and Remarketing. There is however a clear lean towards PPC, so your role will be hands on in nature to manage significant budgets on Google Ads here. Given the international nature of the business youll also need to coordinate with other Online Marketing Managers/PPC Managers to ensure a consistent approach, and to generally bounce ideas off of to ensure you are using the best approach in terms of ROI. Youll be on the cutting edge of new technologies, and proficient in forming business cases to deliver these across the digital team. What experience youll need PPC Executive or Manager, either from agency or client side. Well versed in Google Ads and Google Analytics. Solid Excel skills and an analytical approach. What youll be doing Reporting into the Digital Marketing Director and managing 1 other executive in the team, your role will be split between line management (tied in with hands-on work), strategy, new business pitches and growing the SEO team with future hires. With an enviable client list, this is a great role for an established SEO professional to take a step up and drive the broader strategic / team leadership elements they may not have exposure to. Youll mentor an SEO Manager and SEO Executive in all things biddable media, also educating them on best practice and planning their time based on the strategic goals of the team and business.
