    Marketing Manager

    — 10/12 Month Maternity Cover Contract

This is a fantastic 10-12 month maternity contract for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a well established and further growing business in central Bath, with beautiful products to promote and sell.  There is no risk of being bored within this role as there are regular product launches throughout the year, a calendar of events, and general marketing duties spanning the full mix.  Due to start in the first week of January 2020, this really is a great opportunity. What you'll be doing Despite being a maternity cover contract, you will manage the annual marketing budget, tracking and managing costs of projects and activity.  There is a big trade marketing approach with this business and you will work with suppliers to book, attend, manage and develop the presence within large trade shows.  Each trade show will require website updates and printed collateral to showcase the latest products being launched.  If you have a product marketing background, you will have the opportunity to work with the product development lifecycle, bringing new ideas to life and to market.  You will take on a guardianship of the product development critical time path, and ensure products are ready in time for launch.  The broader elements of the role include digital marketing, managing two key websites and ensuring content is up to date with accompanying photography.  You will create newsletters, manage the social media, and complete reports on digital traffic and click/open rates.  PR and advertising are also key, and you will secure a steady stream of coverage in trade magazines, websites and newsletters by creating regular features and promoting new product launches and business news.  You will need to draft proactive press copy at times, using a creative style and developing beautiful imagery from photoshoots.  What experience you'll need to apply Broad marketing experience across a 360 role Experience with product marketing would be beneficial but not essential Website and social media management Good content/copywriting skills Events management Exceptional communication skills An understanding of product lifecycle management What you'll get in return for your talents This is a great company with exceptional and beautiful products.  There is a competitive salary on offer (£28k-£35k), free on site parking and you'll be joining a lovely team at an exciting time for the business.  What next If you're available to start a new role in January and are interested in this opportunity then apply now, or contact Chris (01179 269530) for more information.
