What you’ll be doing In this role you’ll be joining a global agency and play a pivotal role in their UX function, as part of their growing digital team. The UX Designer will work closely with clients and other internal teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project, to ensure that the user is kept in mind throughout and business goals are met for the client. Use of a modern Javascript library would be highly beneficial but not essential. Awareness of various templating tools (such as Twig). We’re looking for a Learning Designer to join one of our clients in Cheltenham. The role will be remote with great flexibility options long term but a driver’s license and the ability to travel on occasion will be required. What you’ll be doing This role is to join an organisation that is responsible for positively changing people’s lives up and down the country. The team’s purpose is to help those with special needs and disabilities secure the right education and care. As a Learning Designer you will join the L&D (learning and development) team and support on the implementation of a new digital learning platform as well as the creation of learning content for a wide variety of courses. Reporting into the head of L&D you will work alongside a Moodle administrator and focus on internal learning programmes for staff across the business. Moodle is the learning platform of choice, but previous experience isn’t required; more important is a passion for storytelling and a desire to make the complex, simple. The courses you’ll be creating will vary greatly. To create content you’ll be supported with access to articulate 360 but longer term they would love to find someone that has a desire to create their own assets and materials; this could include graphic design elements, video content, photography and scripts. What you’ll need to be considered A background in the creative industries or learning and development (be that learning design, instructional design, or other learning content creation). A confident writer, able to generate copy for learning programs, intro’s, descriptions, instructions and assessments.     Fully remote role for now with a growing digital agency. Progressive technology stack. Very diverse client base, multiple blue-chip clients. A progressive digital agency based in Cheltenham with a great atmosphere and a strong blue-chip client base are looking for a Web Developer to join their team. With a bunch of exciting projects due to kick off imminently across a variety of areas, they're fully equipped to continue delivering projects from home and are happy interviewing/onboarding remotely.  What experience you’ll need  Proven full-stack web development expertise with good knowledge of Laravel.  Capable with HTML, CSS (Sass) & JavaScript. An eye for UI and flair for usability. Awareness of various templating tools (such as Twig). Experience with a bespoke back-end management system; preferably Craft but open to others.  Knowledge of continuous deployment (Deploybot/DeployHQ) would be beneficial.  Keen attention to detail and an ability to provide a detailed understanding of client needs.  What you’ll be doing Sitting in the digital team (5 people) you'll be covering a variety of different projects, you could be working on multiple things concurrently so adaptability is key. A lot of the project base is focused on web application builds; you'll be working very closely with the design team to ensure visions are aligned and must be comfortable suggesting new ideas & different approaches where you see fit. It’s expected that you’ll be able to have complex technical discussions on both front-end & back-end technologies, with an ability to structure your work and write clean/reusable code that can be re-deployed by other members of the team. The average project lifecycle tends to be 10-12 weeks so there is a lot of variety and a lot of scope to pick up new & emerging tech.  What you’ll get in return for your experience  Fully remote for now, but hopefully early next year you’ll be based in the centre of Cheltenham working in a hard-working and talented team whilst being in a relaxed and friendly environment.
