What you’ll be doing Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, this role would suit a hands-on eCommerce Manager, or an ambitious eCommerce Executive looking to step up. Taking responsibility of upcoming and exciting new projects, the eCommerce Manager will join a driven team, and manage two self-sufficient, direct reports.
You will take the lead on developing strategies to ensure all opportunities are maximised on-site, with an effective user experience and targeted, personalised content. You will be comfortable analysing data to inform your decisions, ensuring sales targets are met through optimised campaigns, developing new propositions, and being accountable for the merchandising strategy, including online content, A/B testing, CRO & UX.
Day to day, you will be drive conversions using a creative trading strategy, working in collaboration with the Campaign and Design teams, as well as Buying & Merchandising teams, to deliver a consistent message across all platforms within agreed timeframes.
You’ll also be expected to research competitor campaigns and keep abreast of industry news and the latest trading techniques.
What experience you’ll need to apply
Significant experience in a similar eCommerce role, preferably in the retail sector.
Ability to use Google Analytics and other online tools, such as CMS, basic HTML & Photoshop.
Experience carrying out A/B testing to optimise the user experience.
Demonstrable success delivering an effective online merchandising and trading plan that improves conversion rates.
Commercially aware, with excellent organisation and time keeping skills.
