    PCB Design Engineer

Our client are seeking a PCB Design Engineer to join their established team, to aid the growth of their electronic products. Working under an internationally recognised brand, you’ll have access to a range of interesting projects. What experience you will need: An understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes. Good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Good IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Engineering qualification NVQ Level 3 or 2 STEM subject A Levels. Passion and interest in electronics. 2-3 years industry experience. What you’ll be doing: You will develop production ready PCB designs and manufacturing information. You will use NI MultiSIM and Ultiboard PCB design software for schematic capture and board layout.You will incorporate design rules for creepage and clearance, RFI, EMC, etc. You will also work with the team to design and develop prototypes. What you’ll get in return for your talents:You will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 22 days holidays (plus bank holidays, plus three days over Christmas).     Electronics Technician

Our client are seeking an Electronics Technician to join their established team, to support their established team. Working under an internationally recognised brand, you’ll have access to a range of interesting projects. What experience you will need: Technical training or qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or significant industry experience. Good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to hand solder components on a PCB, both surface mount and through-hole. Experience using general test equipment such as an oscilloscope, multi-meter and power supply. What you’ll be doing: You will be trained on the use of pre-compliance EMC test equipment, and perform tests on the onsite tech. You will be involved in reliability testing and failure analysis. You will be hand soldering components on a PCB, carrying out wiring and crimping as well as using general test equipment. You will take measurements of voltage, power, temperature, current, etc, as well as device programming. What you’ll get in return for your talents:You will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 22 days holidays (plus bank holidays, plus three days over Christmas). Our client are seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join their established team, to extend and develop their range. Working under an internationally recognised brand, you’ll have access to a range of interesting projects. What experience you will need: Experience in practical electronic circuit design of measurement, control, analogue, digital, and embedded microcontrollers. Programming experience with STM8, STM32 or similar. Analogue and digital circuit design experience. Embedded C programming experience. Design experience in data interfaces, GMS, Bluetooth, data logging, IoT, SMPS, and power electronics would be advantageous. What you’ll be doing: You will work as part of an established team to design and develop new and existing ranges for the business.
