This is an opportunity to deliver user centred web and native app builds for a variety of big-name brands. What you’ll be doing In this role you’ll be joining a global agency and play a pivotal role in their UX function, as part of their growing digital team. The UX Designer will work closely with clients and other internal teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project, to ensure that the user is kept in mind throughout and business goals are met for the client. You’ll work closely both with clients and the agency’s planning team to gather research and insight. Often this data will be supplied to you, but there may be times you gather your own and engage in broader research activities yourself. From there you’ll be working up user personas, journeys, wireframes and prototypes in whatever tools you’re comfortable with, you’ll then test these with users through usability testing sessions (remote or in person whatever is appropriate). From there you’ll work closely with the design team who will add the polish to your work and the development team who will bring it to life. This role will interact with stakeholders all over the agency including client services, planning and project management, development, design and creative so will need to be a fantastic communicator. Workshopping with clients will also be a key part of the role, so confidence when dealing with clients will be key. What experience you’ll need to apply A deep understanding of design principles and user centred design. Collaborative approach, confident working in cross-functional teams. Experience running your own user testing, in-house or remote. Data and insight driven in all you do. A good understanding of interaction design fundamentals and modern design trends. Knowledge of HTML and CSS. Skilled in modern design tools such as Sketch, Invision, XD or Marvel etc (whichever you’re comfortable with).     Web Developer

A forward-thinking digital agency based in Cheltenham with a strong blue-chip client base and a great working atmosphere are looking for a Web Developer to join their team. With a host of exciting projects due to kick off imminently across a variety of areas, they're fully equipped to continue delivering projects from home and are happy interviewing/onboarding remotely.  What experience you’ll need Proven full-stack web development expertise with good knowledge of Laravel.  Capable with HTML, CSS (Sass) & JavaScript. Use of a modern Javascript library would be highly beneficial but not essential. Awareness of various templating tools (such as Twig). Experience with a bespoke back-end management system; preferably Craft but open to others.  Knowledge of continuous deployment (Deploybot/DeployHQ) would be beneficial.  Keen attention to detail and an ability to provide a detailed understanding of client needs.  What you’ll be doing Sitting in the digital team (5 people) you'll be covering a variety of different projects and could be working on multiple things concurrently so adaptability is key. A lot of the project base is focused on web application builds; you'll be working very closely with the design team to ensure visions are aligned and must be comfortable suggesting new ideas & different approaches where you see fit. It’s expected that you’ll be able to have complex technical discussions on both back-end & front-end technologies, with an ability to structure your work and write clean/reusable code that can be re-deployed by other members of the team. The average project lifecycle tends to be 10-12 weeks so there is a lot of variety and a lot of scope to pick up new & emerging tech.  What you’ll get in return for your experience  Fully remote for now, but hopefully early next year you’ll be based in the centre of Cheltenham working in a hard-working and talented team whilst being in a relaxed and friendly environment.
