We are looking for a Copywriter to join an award-winning B2B agency in Portsmouth. The agency has an extensive list of big-name clients under their belt. This is a fantastic opportunity for a research led, creative copywriter to sink their teeth into something new.  What you’ll be doing This is a hands-on creative copywriting role within a growing creative department, you'll focus on modern, engaging copy as well as content creation. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director, Head of Copy, Client Services and other creatives. The work will be varied and you’ll craft copy & content across branding, DM (Direct Marketing), digital content (social, video etc), TOV (tone of voice) and campaigns, always B2B and always based on solid insight and research. You’ll be generating big ideas for big clients so you’ll be no stranger to through the funnel thinking and not afraid to let your creativity shine through in your work. You’ll also have the opportunity to build and nurture those relationships with new and existing businesses. What experience you’ll need to apply Most importantly you’ll need to have experience in the B2B sector. A portfolio bursting with B2B copy/content examples. Be conceptual, creative and research-led in your approach. Ideally, have an understanding of lead generation marketing. Be aware of the latest digital trends. Previous experience of working within a creative/marketing agency. Be comfortable in front of senior stakeholders as you’ll be involved in pitch meetings directly with clients. This is the opportunity to work on a market-leading and award winning product suite that some of the worlds top companies use.                                What you’ll be doing This is a new role for the business and will join the product engineering team. As a UI Designer you will work very closely with the existing UX Designer, the development team, product managers and report directly into the CTO. Their flagship product empowers clients through data, in turn helping them engage their audiences in more meaningful ways and ultimately saving them time, money and resources. Several ‘modules’ make up the product, this role would work on all areas of the product but the focus initially will be on one area.  As a UI Designer you will focus on generating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high fidelity UI elements. You’ll also take ownership for the living style guides and help develop these as the product offering grows. As well as hands on design you’ll be helping evangelise a design led culture across the business, working with stakeholders of all kinds to promote collaboration with the design team.  What experience you’ll need to apply Previous experience within a user interface design or user experience design role. Well versed in modern design tools (the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Adobe XD etc) A portfolio full of highly polished UI designs (responsive web and ideally native app) A passion for user centred design and understanding of UCD product design processes. Proven experience of Wireframing and prototyping your designs. Fantastic communication skills. Having set up 15 years ago and now employing over 150 people, the business work with a varied client base of small and large businesses spread across the retail, telecoms and financial sectors, plus many more.  What skills you’ll need Proven coding experience using HTML, CSS and C#. Significant knowledge of systems implementation & configuration.  Expertise with SQL; especially for data visualisation.  Data-driven mind set with strong analytical & numeric skills.  High-level of time management with an ability to work under pressure at pace.  Any training or coaching experience would be useful.
