    Start-up business with ambitious growth plans. Modern & progressive technology stack (Java, Kotlin, Python, Golang, JavaScript). Scalable mobile application with 1m+ monthly users.  A progressive FinTech start-up with aggressive growth plans are looking for a front-end leaning Android Engineer to join their team in East London. The business has built an innovative mobile app which offers a range of monetisation solutions to support their various partners to drive revenue, increase engagement and decrease overall churn. Today they operate across 4 continents, have 12 apps in market, c6000 daily users and around 1.8 million monthly users, which only continues to expand.  What skills you’ll need Proven background in full-stack Android Engineering. Full-Stack experience with a passion for high-level front-end and usability. Significant commercial knowledge of Java Android and Kotlin. .  Good understanding of unit testing & test automation.  Awareness of continuous integration/deployment (Jenkins or similar).  Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment with fortnightly sprints & daily stand-ups.  Any contribution to apps in Google Play Store would be beneficial.  Any knowledge of things like Python, Golang, Retrofit, Dagger or RXJava would be useful, but by no means essential. What you’ll be doing  Working alongside 2 other Android Engineers and the Product Manager you will take responsibility for the development & maintenance of several Android applications, primarily focusing on the front-end aspect and looking to improve overall usability standards. Though this role is front-end leaning there will still be a good element of back-end involved, so you will need to offer full-stack expertise in order to hit the ground running. There’s a mixture of Greenfield & on-going projects to get involved in, the main focus being a large-scale migration from Java to Kotlin. It’s expected that you will look after unit testing & automation, as well as getting involved in daily stand-ups and fortnightly sprints. Overall there are three core products, two of which are on the same codebase with the third differing slightly, so there will be a lot of variety and constant exposure to new & emerging tech.     Digital Media Manager - PPC & Paid Social

    Dynamic Ad agency in Central London.  Data-driven approach. Luxury clients.  This is a new and critical role within a vibrant, forward-thinking advertising agency, which affords the opportunity to contribute to both the client business and the development and evolution of the agency. You will join a successful media team and lead on media buying, in addition to championing their beliefs of innovation, honesty, and transparency.  What you’ll be doing This role will see you supporting paid media deployment through highly targeted audience insight and analysis across a broad range of platforms including (but not limited to) PPC, social media and display.  Day-to-day, you will contribute to strategic decisions in integrated campaign delivery, providing advice to stakeholders on the business case for campaigns, in line with their objectives. Furthermore, you’ll understand data strategy and help to define technical requirements aimed at improving the management of data internally and externally.  It’s an unconventional role and ideal for someone who has an interest in the possibilities of pushing the boundaries of media buying and the future of marketing in the shadow of data, data privacy and artificial intelligence. You will be joining an integrated team of channel experts and generalists, led by the Managing Partner, and be responsible for championing the changing world of media, its usage in the modern world and its integration into marketing. What experience you’ll need to apply At least one year’s experience in a biddable media buyer position across either social or PPC. An inquisitive mind and strong communication skills (written and verbal). Stand as a credible subject matter expert for media buying and data driven marketing. Strong mathematical skills and an analytical mindset. Willingness to learn how to use or write Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, R, SAS and Advanced Excel. An interest in understanding how media buying is achieved and how the algorithms work. Self-motivated and entrepreneurial in spirit.
