— Innovative eCommerce agency
Impressive client portfolio.
Flexible working and working from home available.
Opportunity to join an award-winning agency.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-recognised eCommerce agency with an impressive client portfolio. This agency is looking for an individual who can really roll up their sleeves and get stuck in and support their growing client portfolio.
They work with some brilliant B2C clients who you’ll deal with on a day-to-day basis, from identifying their business goals, recognising opportunities for growth, and developing strategies to increase sales and profitability. If you are passionate about eCommerce, are a natural-born leader with the ambition to achieve results then this could be a perfect role for you!
What you’ll be doing
You will be expected to have a full understanding of your clients' businesses, helping them to refine all aspects of their eCommerce strategy. This will require you to be an excellent communicator and become a real partner to your clients. Being able to vocalise necessary improvements that might need to be made, feedback on campaigns, and provide creative solutions to any problems which may occur.
Using your hands on eCommerce experience you will be expected to deliver user experience, conversion rate (CRO), and onsite SEO improvements to your clients’ websites by improving existing platforms and introducing innovative solutions to improve the user journey.
You will play a key role in the development of new eCommerce stores, providing both UX and eCommerce consultancy to clients and the wider team. To ensure project objectives are successfully met you will be heavily involved in launch plans, ensuring that site performance, usability, and onsite SEO are delivered according to current best practice, including effective migration of data and content.
This role will allow you to use your experience and in-depth understanding of eCommerce principles and UX Design to mentor colleagues, sharing your knowledge with the wider team and leading by example.
The experience you’ll need to apply
A proven track record of delivering eCommerce success, ideally in online trading, merchandising, or web optimisation/ conversion role.
Hands-on experience in managing medium-sized eCommerce stores.
Confident in carrying out user testing.
Understanding of Google Analytics, Onsite SEO, and basic marketing principles.
An in-depth understanding of UX, usability, and CRO principles.
Confidence with speaking to clients and maintaining a great professional relationship.
The ability to work collaboratively with the broader team to achieve collective goals.
What you’ll get in return for your talents
A competitive salary depending on experience + an incentive scheme paid out quarterly, flexible working arrangements with working from home options available, yearly performance-based salary reviews, a choice to work either in Harrogate or Leeds, and a MacBook pro for use at work and home.
